Support of Assumption Historical Society and the Surrounding Historical Areas

Our way of life, culture and society are based on our HISTORY. Consequently, it is an important component of education. The Foundation is committed to providing support for public historical organizations in Christian and Shelby Counties such as the Assumption Historical Society.

Established in 2003, the Assumption Historical Society works to preserve artifacts and help educate the community, and beyond, about Assumption’s unique history. Note that every community has just that – its’ own “unique” history!

The museum is open during community events and by appointment.
